Postman Collection Viewer

Paste or drop an exported Postman collection and read every request without opening Postman: folders, methods, addresses, query parameters, headers, auth and bodies, with the collection's variables filled in and a cURL command for each request. The other way, turn requests or any JSON into a collection to import.

How do I use the Postman collection viewer?

  1. Paste a collection, or drop a .postman_collection.json file anywhere.
  2. Open a request to see its query, headers, body and cURL command.
  3. Switch to JSON → collection to make a collection from requests or a sample body.

What does the Postman collection viewer do?

  • Collections v2.1 and v2.0, also as the Postman API returns them
  • Folders, inherited auth, switched-off headers and query parameters
  • {{variables}} and :path variables filled in, or kept as they are
  • Variables the collection doesn't set are listed, ready for an environment
  • Every request as JSON or as a cURL command
  • Generated collections use {{baseUrl}} and import into Postman

Frequently asked questions

Does it run the requests?
No. It only reads and writes the collection, so nothing is sent anywhere. Copy a cURL command to run one yourself.
Can it read environments?
Not yet. Variables that come from an environment are listed as not set, and you can switch Variables to keep them as {{name}}.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Bracely runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you paste or open leaves your device.
