Key Pair Generator
Make a key pair for signing JWTs, encrypting data or logging in over SSH, in the formats you need, without installing OpenSSL. The keys are made with your browser's WebCrypto and never sent anywhere.

- Press Run to make a pair.

- JWK with alg, use and the RFC 7638 thumbprint as kid

Frequently asked questions
- Is it safe to make keys in a browser?
- The keys come from WebCrypto, the same code the browser uses for HTTPS, and they stay on your device: nothing is uploaded or saved. For keys that guard production systems, many teams still prefer making them on the machine that uses them.
- Is my data uploaded?
- No. Bracely runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you paste or open leaves your device.
