SSL Certificate Decoder

Paste a certificate (-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE-----) to see who it's for, who issued it, when it expires, its other names (SANs), key type and size, serial number, fingerprints and every extension. It also reads certificate requests (CSRs), whole chains, Base64 DER and certificates inside JSON, like a Kubernetes TLS secret.

How to use it

  1. Paste the PEM certificate, chain or CSR.
  2. Read the details: names, dates, issuer, key and fingerprints.
  3. Switch Show to JSON or OpenSSL text to copy them.

Questions

Is the certificate uploaded?
No. Bracely decodes it in your browser, the same fields openssl x509 -text shows, without sending it anywhere.
Can I paste a private key?
Bracely skips key blocks and never shows them. Keep private keys to yourself.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Bracely runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you paste or open leaves your device.
