HAR File Analyzer

A HAR file is what your browser saves from the Network panel: every request a page made, with headers, bodies and timings. Drop one here to read it as a timeline, find the calls that failed or took longest, pretty-print their JSON and copy them as cURL, without uploading a file that may hold cookies and tokens.

How do I use the HAR analyzer?

  1. In DevTools open Network, right-click a request and pick Save all as HAR, then drop the .har file here.
  2. Use Only to keep the API calls or what failed, Order for the slowest or largest first, and Find for an address or status.
  3. Open a request for its headers, bodies, timing and cURL command, or send its response to a new tab for any other tool.

What does the HAR analyzer do?

  • Every request on a timeline with method, status, type, size and time
  • Request and response bodies, JSON pretty-printed and Base64 decoded
  • Query, request and response headers and each timing phase
  • Failed requests (4xx, 5xx, blocked or no response) in one click
  • A cURL command for each request, like Copy as cURL
  • All requests as JSON to filter with jq or turn into a table

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to open a HAR file here?
Yes. HAR files often hold cookies, tokens and personal data, which is why Bracely reads it in your browser and never uploads it. Remove secrets before you share the file with anyone.
Which browsers' HAR files does it read?
Any HAR 1.2 file: Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari DevTools, and tools like Charles, Fiddler and mitmproxy.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Bracely runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you paste or open leaves your device.
