Online API Tester
Try an API without installing a client: fill in the method, address, headers and body, press Send, and read the status, time, headers and the formatted response. The request goes from your browser straight to the API.
How do I use the API tester?
- Pick the method and type the address.
- Add headers, auth and a body if it needs them, or import a cURL command.
- Press Send and read the response; open it in a new tab to query or convert it.
What does the API tester do?
- GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, HEAD and OPTIONS
- Bearer tokens, Basic auth and API keys, never saved
- JSON, form and text bodies
- Status, time, size and response headers
- Copy the request as cURL, fetch, axios or Python
- Recent requests, without secrets
Frequently asked questions
- Why does a request fail with a CORS error?
- A web page can only read answers from APIs that allow requests from other websites. Many public and test APIs do; many private ones don't. Copy the request as cURL to run it in a terminal instead.
- Does Bracely see my requests?
- No. They go from your browser straight to the API, and the response stays in this tab. Tokens and passwords are never saved.
